and here you can wonder at the marvels of Old Faithful, Mammoth
Hot Springs and other Natural Wonders.
Lodging:
Sawtelle Mountain Resort is Island Park's most complete Year-Round
Recreation Facility with 20 Standard,
and 16 Economy Rooms, as well as 2 Bunkhouses
designed to sleep twenty plus people each. Each Bunkhouse features
its own kitchen facilities and multi baths. They are perfect for
large groups or reunions.
Facilities:
Our Park and Covered Pavillion may be reserved for Family Picics
and Gatherings.
A
dip in our Indoor Swimming Pool or a relaxing soak in our refreshing
hot tub is the perfect way to conclude and exciting day of adventure
and exploration.
We
also offer a fun playground with facilities for volleyball, horseshoes
and other activities.
RV
Park:
Our RV Park offers Full Hookups, 20-30-50 amp service, Satellite
TV and Shower Facilities for your convenience, as well as plenty
of shad under the whispering pins and cool breezes of our Island
Park Hideaway. Nightly, Weekly, MOnthly and Seasonal Rates are Available.
All spaces are Pull Through.
Staying
at our RV park offers you the use of our entire facility as described
above, as well as the opportunity to enjoy our bounty of Year Round
Recreational Activities.
Activities:
The Sawtelle Mountain Resort is your complete destination for Outdoor
Adventure. We offer Summer Recreational Activities for the entire
family including: ATV , Mountain Bike, and Personal Watercraft Rentals;
Fly Fishing; Horseback Riding, Hiking, Hunting and River Float Trips.
For
many, it is Winter when Island park is at its Best! Sawtelle Mountain
Resort includes a complete itinerary of Winter Recreational Packages
and plenty of Truck and Trailer Parking. Our Convenient Snowmobile
Rentals are the perfect ay to enjoy over 1,500 miles of groom trails
in the Island Park Area. Start your journey right outside the Lodge's
front door and enoy the Greatest Mountain Riding in the Western
United States. The deep powder and awesome scenery provide a truly
breathtaking experience.
Cross
Country Skiing in another popular activity and there are over 75
miles of groomed trails including those in Harriman State Park and
Targhee National Forest. Excellent Snow Pack and Sunny Skies are
usually prevalent during the month of March.
