Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area is located 17 miles West of the strip on Charleston Boulevard (also shown as Highway 159 on some maps). Red Rock encompasses 197,000 acres and provides hiking trails, picnic areas, a 13 mile scenic drive, and a visitor center and gift shop.
